Ingredients
Jersey Fresh Strawberries, about 1 1/2 cups sliced
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
1.5 – 3 teaspoons sugar, divided
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Store bought Balsamic glaze (optional)
Steps
20m prep time / 25m cook time
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Cut puff pastry into 4 squares and place on a sprayed baking sheet
3. Arrange strawberries in the center of each piece of puff pastry, leave small edge
4. Sprinkle with sugar (1/2 - 2 tsp depending on your preference)
5. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or crusts begin to turn golden brown
6. While tarts are baking, make the whipped cream: combine cream, 1 tsp sugar and vanilla into bowl. Mix with hand mixer until stiff peaks begin to form. NOTE: for sweater whipped cream add another teaspoon of sugar.
7. Let tarts cool slightly after removing from oven
8. Dollop with whipped cream or drizzle with balsamic glaze right before serving
