Frozen Corn


As much Jersey Fresh whole ears of corn that you can find!


1. Shuck the corn
2. Bring a big pot of water to a boil
3. In batches (making sure not to overcrowd the pot), cook the whole, shucked, ears of corn in the boiling water for 4 minutes
4. Remove ears with tongs directly into an ice bath. Let sit in bath until cool and able to handle
5. Cut off the kernels
6. Scoop 1 pound of kernels into each freezer bag removing as much air as possible (you can use a straw to draw out the extra air), seal tightly. Repeat until all kernels are bagged
7. Place the bags flat in your freezer and freeze
8. Enjoy all year long!
