Ingredients

1 (12 oz) package of Jersey Fresh cranberries
2 large Jersey Fresh Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and diced
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

For Grilled Cheese:
2 slices of bread (we used sourdough)
Cheese (we used brie)
Mayo
Plus, anything else you like (leftover turkey, stuffing, apple slices, etc.)

Steps

5m prep time / 25m cook time

1. Place cranberries, apples, water, sugar and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Bring it to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the cranberries pop and apples are soft, about 20 minutes.
2. Let cool completely before refrigerating.

To make a grilled cheese:
1. Spread mayo on both sides of both slices of bread.
2. Heat a frying pan on medium, place both slices of bread in pan. Toast lightly, then flip both slices.
3. Add cranberry sauce to one slice of toasted bread. Top sauce with cheese. Top cheese with second slice of bread.
4. Cook until bottom slice of bread is brown. Flip and toast other side until cheese is melty.
