About Us

Alstede Farms produces fresh harvested home grown fruits, vegetables, and flowers on over 600 acres of beautiful Garden State farmland; most of which is permanently preserved through the state's Farmland Preservation Program. All of the fresh produce is grown using only Sustainable or Certified Organic cultural methods. We are a real working farm with a passion for making fresh fruit and vegetables accessible to all through our farm store in Chester, our farm stand in Chester. our farmers' markets located in NY and NJ, and our "Freshly Inspired" Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Alstede Farms also offers various venures on site for parties and special events, along seasonal breakfasts and farm to table brunches. We also offer educational group farm tours, pick your own as well as feature a variety of friendly farm animals to visit.
