John Pilarz is Chef and Owner of Anthony’s Italian Creative Cuisine in Haddon Township. Chef John was formally trained at ACC and after working part-time in the Washington Township restaurant his now business partner, Anthony, owned – he went on to spend the early part of his career working in Atlantic City. After leaving Atlantic City in the early 1990’s, Chef John returned to work with Anthony. The duo had been working together for almost 10 years when the opportunity to own and operate their own restaurant arose. In 2000, Chefs John and Anthony, opened Anthony’s Italian Creative Cuisine. This popular, Italian restaurant’s motto is “it’s about the food” and you can tell, from your first bite to your last. Their passion for using local, Jersey Fresh produce results in a menu that is always changing.
